... was replaced in Disney's film version of Hercules by Go the Distance, as it was felt to be "too wistful, with not enough drive" – making the legendary Greek hero look "too soft". It reached No. 2 in the UK chart when released by Boyzone as part of a double A–side single, along with Tracy Chapman's Baby Can I Hold You.
Shooting Star was reinstated in the 2019 musical stage version of Hercules.
